What is this zine?
Cirque du Passione is a circus themed zine focused on the characters from Vento Aureo. The zine will be accepting artists, writers, and merch artists.What concepts are allowed?
Most circus acts, skills, and themes will be allowed. Under no circumstance will freak show acts based on disability be allowed. We encourage personal interpretations of the characters, including gender and sexuality headcanons. If you feel your piece might touch upon these concepts, please contact a mod and we can talk it out!How old do I have to be to apply?
While Cirque du Passione is suitable for all ages, we require that all contributors be 18 years of age at the time of application.Can I do shipping art?
Yes and no. The primary focus of this zine is to explore character designs within the zine's core concept. Multiple characters in the same piece are allowed as long as shipping is not the focus. If you're unsure whether your piece fits the criteria, reach out! We know Squalo and Tiziano can't keep their hands off each other.Are collaborations allowed?
Yes! In fact we encourage them. Feel free to discuss this with your fellow contributors.What is “Midnight Delight”?
Midnight Delight is a burlesque-inspired companion to Cirque du Passione focused on the adult characters in the zine in a tasteful yet erotic way. Characters under the age of 18 will not be present in Midnight Delight. Whether or not we go ahead with Midnight Delight depends on the responses from our interest check!Will the zine be physical or digital?
The main Cirque du Passione zine will be a physical 8x10 inch zine, with physical merch options as well. The Midnight Delight companion zine, if people express interest in it, will be digital only and sent as a high-quality PDF.When will I receive physical items?
We’re currently planning for a distribution timeline of Late August - Early September.Where is the money going?
Zine and merch sales will go to paying the contributors; and the costs of printing, manufacturing, packing and shipping. Cirque’s zine director is experienced with printing, manufacturing, and shipping fan-designed merch and prints.Where can I learn more?
